Who We Are
Botswana–SME Portal is a private led initiative that was conceptualized and initiated
in July 2006 and implemented in December 2006. This initiative was conceived out
of the view to support the national initiatives within Botswana and other SADC
countries. The project is led by SACAR Development Consultancy (cc) from Port
Elizabeth (South Africa) and other supporters from Botswana.
Our Strategic Intent
To be the premier organization, in the pursuit of private sector development through
the promotion of SMEs in Botswana specifically and on a transnational basis in
general.
Our Mission
Is to foster and promote entrepreneurial development in Botswana the Gem of Africa.
